Are your horses claimable for the Cambridgeshire Claimers?
In line with Digiturf.com’s policy of creating more exciting horse races that cater for the greater virtual horse racing community we are proud to sponsor the Cambridgeshire Claimers. If you’re familiar with the Claimers you will know that when entering your horse in a Claimer, you are putting it up for sale as any other member may place a claim on your horse. You own the horse until the end of the race and if it wins you collect the prize money. If someone has claimed it, you will also collect the claim price specified in the name of the race. It is is unlikely that a champion horse will be entered in a Claiming Race as owners will generally not risk losing their champions. Unless of course, a nominating owner has not recognized the true ability of a champion horse in which case the astute claimer will make a prize purchase of a horse that has ability to succeed in Graded Races. The higher value Claiming Races will naturally attract more competitive horses. All in all, it is a truly cracking card! It gets even better on Saturday, however, with what will unquestionably prove to be one of the best racedays of the year. Run For Your Money With The Great North Runners!
irtual horse racing enthusiasts are going to get a run for their money in the Great North Runners tribute races. All your horses are eligible for these races, all you have to do is run them over their preferred tracks, distances and goings , because the Race Programmer is leveling the racing fields by awarding the $400 sponsorships to six lucky horses that will be selected from the races programmed in honour of the Great North Runners. All you have to do is make your horses run for the money! The process is easy: enter any horse into any graded race that has been renamed a Great North Runners race (obviously excluding rated races, claimers and qualifiers) and your horses will be entered into a lucky draw. The more horses you race increases your opportunity to win more prizes. You don’t even have to win or place in those races to win! Prizes? There are separate draws for the colts and fillies- so race both sexes from all grades in as many Great North Runners that you can find are running on the 18th September 2011.
