Good breeding counts for a lot, it's one of those things that determines our draw in life but it is also beyond our control. Some horses are born with great genes and the determination to win every race at all costs; this is especially true in Digiturf's Championship Series where we see 2010’s juvenile champions performing with distinction: i.e. Ap Godzilla, Bigmomma, Boost Your Stable, Dakota Princess, Domination's End, Donnie Brosco, Frozen Dub, Golden Lineage, Jetting Judy, Operation Ivy, Perfect Sakura, Pool Party, Priscus Of Rome, Rumblin Ryan, Secret Mistress, Secret Queen, Secret Smash and The Situation. But, what about the smaller, less known horses, who denied the benefit of good genes and superior breeding still perform beyond their inbred (or lack thereof) lack of potential and succeed with the spirit of a champion? Despite his oxymoronic name, Sofa King Drunk, stands head and shoulders above better horses without making an ass of himself. Admittedly, everybody has a place in their stable for horses like Golden Lineage and Secret Domination in their stable, but we think that virtually everybody will find a place in their heart for the little G3 monster that ran faster than anybody thought he could. When it comes to achieving the highest wins percentage of the year Sofa King Drunk has all the other horses on Digiturf whipped. He won 52% of his races.
