Linda Fitzgerald put her celebrity status to good use when she whipped up support from Digiturf.com trainers and jockeys alike to race against a heinous form of prejudice called jockeyism! This is a cause very close to star Linda’s heart, who says she’s experienced terrible prejudice throughout her career as a professional jockey. It was for this reason that the Jockey Club rallied behind Linda to sponsor the Jockey Club Gold races with US$400.00 to help eradicate the virtual horse racing community of this dreaded prejudice. Linda would like to extend her eternal appreciation and gratitude to all trainers who supported her in the Jockey Club Gold races- she won’t forget who you are but would like to make particular mention of the following trainers who were lucky enough to have her (or her closest rival) ride their horses.
