Where you are from & what do you do?
Software developer from Sydney Australia. Horse Racing is a mainstream sport here in Oz so that makes it special to me. We supposedly enjoy a great climate (personally I despise humidity) and are sports mad. Australia once dominated world sports like cricket and rugby. Now the poms have won the Ashes again (the horror!), they flog us at Rugby Union and the Kiwis beat us Rugby League. So, whilst we love our sports we are no longer special in this respect 

How do you enjoy spending your leisure time? 
With a pint of ale in my hand. 

What’s your favorite time of day / year?
Time of day? Evening, when the workday is done.
Time of year? Winter - rugby league season. I do also enjoy Spring and Autumn as this is when the big race carnivals are held in Oz. Summer is the pits. Too hot. Hate it. 

What your happiest memory?
No idea. I hope it hasn’t happened yet. Perhaps when the rugby league team I follow won the minor premiership in 1989. Unfortunately they have done nothing since and didn’t go on to win the final that year. Recently I was happy with a horse I pulled from the ring 

What is your biggest dream?
To see the South Sydney Rabbitohs win a Grand Final before I kick the bucket. I wasn’t born the last time they did. Would be nice to win a champ race at some stage – wait, now I’m really dreaming! 

Are you a good cook / what’s your favorite meal & beverage?
I like to cook. A good cook? Well that’s up for debate. Favourite would have to be a roast animal of some description. I’m quite partial to sheep, fishes and chickens. Favourite drink without contest is beer – specifically Coopers Pale Ale. I call it liquid cocaine because you just want more and more and more and ... well I think you get my drift. 

What’s your favorite color / item of clothing?
Cardinal and Myrtle – the colours of the South Sydney Rabbitohs! That’s red and green for the uninitiated. I care little for clothing. Whatever’s at arms reach. 

What was your favorite subject in school?
Is sport a subject? 

What’s your favorite horse racing event?
Tough one. Cox Plate and/or Caulfield Cup. 

What’s your favorite historical event?
When Makybe Diva won her third straight Melbourne Cup in 2005. What a top mare she was. Also loved watching Sunline win back to back Cox Plates in 2001. 

What’s your best tip for saving the environment?
We are assuming then that it needs saving? I’m not convinced. 

What’s your favorite song / book / television show / movie?
Song? Too hard. Most of "A Tribe Called Quest" stuff was great.
Book? The Godson by Gloria Vitanza Basile.
TV Show? The Wire or Six Feet Under.
Movie? Pan’s Labyrinth. What? No #13? I’m not sure if this is lucky or unlucky! Well I’ll cough something up ... "Eyes are not for seeing. They are for being looked at". 

Who’s your favorite television show / movie / actor / actress / writer?
Actor? Michael Gambon (The Singing Detective) and Michael Hall (Six Feet Under, Dexter).
Actress? I dunno, Natalie Portman is fiiiiiiine!
Writer? Dennis Potter. 

What’s your biggest indulgence?
People have indulgences now? I have vices. 

What’s the best / worst thing you’ve heard about yourself?
Best? That I’m alive.
Worst? See Best. 

What’s the one thing nobody knows about you?
Well my employer doesn’t know they are paying me to answer all of these questions! 

What charity / cause do you feel most passionately about?
RSPCA – they prevent cruelty to animals by actively promoting their care and protection. 

What’s your favorite part of virtual horse racing?
The gamble that is the ring and seeing my horses win of course!
