| Travert Stables Cleaning Up G3 Races | |

Travert Stables is cleaning up in G3 racing while the race programmer is cleaning up his G3 program. We’re reluctant to admit this but trainers are using the Request-A-Race function to create more profitable and popular G3 races than the RP’s pre-scheduled races. They’re even getting more runners. Are you any good at requesting & matching races? |
Grade 3 Race Schedule - from 1 February 2011One in every three pre-scheduled Grade 3 races takes place. This means two thirds of the Grade 3 schedule is clutter and may even result in disappointment if a race you entered is later cancelled.Request-A-Race (RAR) resolves this issue by only putting races into the daily schedule that are in demand. So as from 1 February you will notice a dramatic reduction in the number of Grade 3 races that are pre-scheduled. We encourage you to take advantage of the RAR feature, look for races that other trainers have matched, ‘match’ what others have requested or request your own ideal race.A further statistic reveals that on average there are 3 more runners in RAR races than there are in pre-scheduled races. This can only equate to more thrilling racing and larger stakes.Note: The ‘Free Colts and Fillies - Grade 3’ races are scheduled on a different basis and will remain being scheduled in the same manner as they were. They will therefore not be affected by this change.
- Grade 3 Claiming races are not available through the RAR system and will therefore continue to be pre-scheduled.
Some features of RAR to highlight:
- You can remove your horse from any RAR races you requested or matched prior to it receiving its 3rd unique stable entry.
- When a third stable enters a horse, the RAR is scheduled (given a date and time) at the next available slot closest to 4
