Where champions find consolation races at Digiturf

Where Champions Find Consolation

On Digiturf.com, we maintain that all horses are challengers, even if only in spirit and not actual performance, but the fact remains that virtual horse racing is nothing if not the ultimate celebration of victory and victorious racing.

We reward the Championships Series races with incredibly lucrative cash sponsorships and even the qualifier runners are acknowledged in the Championships  races. Thankfully, the Championships Series is based on merit (notwithstanding massive amounts of cash) so that only the best of the best are competing against each other. Everyone also knows that it’s not always about winning a race that defines a champion, but running with the spirit of a champion. A true champion knows that performance outweighs final position and accepts defeat as graciously, and humbly, as a victory. But what if those champions didn’t make the final grade?

Fortunately, the end of season is a lot like Christmas, except that it comes three times a year without the annoying jingles- and the race programmer loves nothing more than sponsoring Consolation races like they were Christmas trees. The man has no self-restraint when it comes to sponsoring races. He’s even looking forward to scheduling and sponsoring as many consolation races as you can fill. What more could you ask for? You could always console yourself with the fact that your horse probably wouldn’t have liked the goings in the Championships Series and that winning a Consolation is better than merely running the Finals.

Consolation are highly desirable races, entry is free and automatic. They’re sponsored to the hilt, and winning a Consolation race is better than losing a Challenge Series. This season, Digiturf.com is planning on sponsoring another batch of bumper Consolation runners. There's still time for your horses to make it into the consolation races, but if not, you could start planning for next season!
