The Race
A field consisting of possibly the best 14 horses in virtual racing met the starter at the Dubai 2400 mark as the virtual racing world was on the edge of it's seat to experience this legendary clash. It was an even start with the field splitting into two distinct packs of frontrunners and closers. Secret Legend, Rusty Angel, King Domination, Domination Legend, Purple King, Secret Domination and Ap Executioner were all racing within a length of eachother upfront with a gap of 5 lengths back to Bone Shaker who led the trailing bunch.

Heads turn for home and Purple King who had a trouble free passage around the turn held a handy 1/2 length advantage over Domination Legend, King Domination, Secret Legend, Rusty Angel, Secret Domination and Ap Executioner - this bunch had fanned out across the track and were all winding up for their finishing bursts. Along the rail and about 4 lengths back we found Bone Shaker who was making steady progress on the frontrunners and then another 5 length gap back to Purple Chaos, Grand Nagus, Rusty Nightmare, Django, Capital Offense and Dublin's lad trailed with around a dozen to make up on the leader.

Two furlongs to go and Ford had stolen a march on the field and skipped clear by 2. Domination Legend and King Domination were still up there but making no impression on the leader, while Stewart threaded Bone Shaker through along the rail and looked to be traveling very well. Secret Legend and Rusty Angel had enough and were dropping back but Django had found his stride and found a split to come bounding out the pack after the leader.

Jack Ford used every inch of the advantage he gained at the top of the lane and kept Purple King rolling to hold off a fast finishing Bone Shaker into 2nd. Django was a little unlucky but found his split late to fly up into 3rd ahead of Domination Legend in 4th and King Domination in 5th.

Congratulations to Chrisman!
