Juvenile Fillies Sprint Championship Final - Hong Kong 1400 Yielding  Wednesday July 28 2010 - 20H30 Photo Finish         Secret Queen gets her head in front where it counts to deny the game Madam Speaker.     See Full Race Results Here     The Race  The pace was on from the outset as Secret Squeeze, Desifinado, Secret Crush and Madam Speaker all bounced out the gates to fight it out for the lead with Secret Queen, Encounter and Forensics in a handy position about 2 lengths off the leaders. Then we had a gap of a few lengths to Flawless Jewel and Melito racing midfield with the fancied runners Press Up, Spectacular Liz and Mass Deception relaxed at the rear of the field with 10 lengths to make up.  With 2 furlongs to travel it was Desifinado who took it up down the middle of the track with Madam Speaker, Secret Crush was on the rail with Secret Queen moving up steadily between runners. Secret Squeeze seemed to be out of gas already and was dropping off the leaders but a glance to the rear of the field saw Spectacular Liz, Press Up and Mass Deception starting to lengthen their strides.  Into the final furlong and Madam Speaker got her head in front of Desifinado on her outside while on the inside Secret Queen was still making progress with Secret Crush along the rail. Spectacular Liz had been hooked to the rail and was now moving up strongly with Mass Deception and Press Up while Melito had gone out the back door. The final 50 was a ding dong battle between Madam Speaker and Secret Queen with Desifinado hanging tough on the outside and Specatacular Liz absolutely flying up the rail and making ground fast. Stewart held just enough in the tank to get Secret Queen up in a gutsy finish to edge out a game Madam Speaker, Desifinado somehow hung on for 3rd from Spectacular Liz who got going a tad too late to grab the 4th spot ahead of Secret Crush.  Congratulations Languedoc Stables! .
