A very even start with Creme De La Creme bounding out to look for the lead with the rest of the field spread out across the track with less than 3 lengths covering them early on. Let the field settle and it's Creme De La Creme taking an early 3 length advantage over a wall of horses including Golden Lineage, Rusty's Secret, Love Generation, Dynamic Yankee, Jack T Ripper, Ap Punisher, Rusty Bullet and Annie's Hellfire. The remainder of the field were relaxed at the rear with around 10 lengths to make up on the leader. With two furlongs to travel, Creme De La Creme was getting weary and Jack T Ripper, Rusty's Secret and Golden Lineage were starting to move up to him, Love Generation was still right there with Annie's Hellfire and Ap Punisher whole Ap King Of Pain, The Situation, Blurr and Mega Tsunami were still at the back of the field with Ap King Of Pain and The Situation starting to lengthen their strides and closing on the leaders. Into the final furlong and Jack T Ripper took it up from Golden Lineage and Rusty's Secret with Ap Flame Thrower putting in a strong finish along with The Situation who was looking for galloping room. Creme De La Creme was a spent force and was dropping back rapidly through the field. With 50 metres to go it was clear the Golden Lineage was not quickening as he usually does and the Situation breezed past him into the lead, Ap Flame Thrower was putting in a determined challenge on the outside with Jack T Ripper and Rusty's Secret trying to hang on.Once The Situation hit the front, it was game over and he went on to win it well from Ap Flame Thrower, Jack T Ripper and Rusty's Secret. Golden Lineage had every chance but failed to quicken in the final furlong to end up 5th.Congratulations Chrisman! Results | |
