An even start saw Heavenly Divine jump smartly and take up the lead from Queen Gaga and Perfect Sakura but there was a lot of jostling for positions as the jockeys tried to get their charges well placed down the backstretch.After settling, it was Macka Beast, Heavenly Divine, Fine Prospect and Queen Gaga going head to head upfront with The Fame Monster and The White Ghost sitting handy just a length off them. 4 lengths back to Glittering Ghost, Platinum Princess and Donna Martini while Sapphire Rose trailed the field with 20 lengths to make up on the leading bunch. Fine Prospect made good progress around the bend, and turning for home she led by a length over Macka Beast and The Fame Monster, Heavenly Divine was still right up there with Queen Gaga between runners. Perfect Sakura and The White Ghost were racing together 6 lengths off the pace with Sapphire Rose still at the rear with over 20 to make up. Into the final 300 metres it turned into a tough battle up front between Fine Prospect, Macka Beast and The Fame Monster with nothing to choose between them. Heavenly Divine and Queen Gaga could not keep up with the front runners and were dropping off while Perfect Sakura was strugglign to hang on and Donna Martini moved past her along the rail. Macka Beast dug down deep in the final 50 to deliver the final blow to The Fame Monster who held on well for 2nd from Fine Prospect in 3rd with Donna Martini and The Snooki Punch running on well for 4th and 5th respectively.
