Saratoga Sprint Championship - Colts - England 1400 Soft

What a bunch of champions we have in this race! $150,000 earnings between them with the legendary Secret Domination leading the earnings race with over $22,000 in earnings alone - no less than five of this classy bunch will be retiring at the end of the season and it would be fitting to see one of them retire a champion.

In recent interviews with several top trainers, a few of them felt that their best championship chance was in this race, but looking at the field, this could be the toughest race in the series to win and ultimately it is going to come down to jockeyship.

Digging into the form I would have to say that the major contenders are Secret Domination, Irish Cream and King Domination with Secret Domination getting the nod simply for sentimental purposes. With a top jockey any of the following could most certainly win it - Secret Legend, Ap Executioner, Purple King, Rusty Angel and Domination Legend.

My pick for the race is Secret Domination to win from Irish Cream and King Domination - good luck to all here, if one of the big boys bags JF he wins!

Saratoga Sprint Championship - Fillies - England 1400 Soft

The 1400 soft conditions have turned a lot of the form in this race upside down - a few of the fancied runners don't look too good on the UK soft track throwing the race wide open.

Roosters Moon and Mystic Goddess have by far the best form over there conditions and Chrisman - arguably the classiest trainer in virtual racing - will be quietly confident that his charges will earn nicely here. The main dangers to the top selections include Mckinleys' Flyingdiz, Captinj's Secret Agenda and Samster's Annie's Nemesis. The queen and princess of Digiturf (Samster and Mckinleys respectively) would be fitting winners of this top fillies event and both of their charges look to have the ability to challenge. Captinj would argue that Dream Ride is his first choice here, but looking into the form she doesn't look too good on the UK track and preference goes to auction bargain Secret Agenda.

Of the others, Secret Reflection and Glory 4 Mig could surprise but my best outsider for the race would be Well Struck - many, including her owner, would argue that Well Struck is a 1200M specialist, but on the right conditions we have seen these specialists come through and win 1400 Metre Championships before.

The selection is Mystic Goddess to win it from Roosters Moon and Flyingdiz with Secret Agenda, Annie's Nemesis and Well Struck flying up late for a check.
